REMARKS
Most itineraries that achieve the main summit of Kilimanjaro do not require special mountaineering experience. You must be aware that most of the park is more than 2000m altitude and extends over tens of square kilometers, which leaves no place for improvisation. A good physical condition and high motivation will allow you, at your own pace, provide the last effort during the ascent of the upper part (4500- 5.985m) which is done at night and in an oxygen-depleted environment.
You will be accompanied by a professional guide. The porters and cook engaged by the guide are essential. The weight of the necessary equipment to climb (gas cylinders, food, water, tents...) is high.
The volcano can be climbed throughout the year but there are two rainy seasons: the first from late March to mid-June and the second in November. The auspicious months to the rise of "Kili" go from December to March and from July to October, which are dry months and with few clouds, the atmospheric conditions can change quickly at these altitudes.
The temperature at 4000m is about 15°C during the day and drop below freezing at night. At the top was recorded between -5 °C day and -22°C at night.

We provide the complete list of the necessary equipment.
